Thanksgiving

Pia had her first Thanksgiving. We went to Grandma Traci's house and ate so much good food. We then hung out a little with Grandmother and Grandpa Jack. It was so nice to have such a lovely time there.

We then went to Poops and Fanny's house and didn't really eat at all. Saw lots of family. I didn't take any pictures because I honestly forgot. Here are some that her Theo Cody took so enjoy!

First Fever....

Last night Pia had her first fever. Nothing huge but she was a little miserable. She also has discovered her toes. She thinks its hilarious to put them in her mouth.

She spent most of the night sticking her tongue out at me. Up next thanksgiving!!

Laughing

Sophia laughed out loud for the first time today. A genuine belly laugh. I tried to get it on camera but the minute she sees the thing she clams up . I'll try to get a better one but until then, enjoy seeing me eat her chubby little cheeks! Off to bed with her!

Milestones....

Monday night it finallly happened. Sophia turned over all by herself from back to front. Of course we were unprepared with the camera and couldn't get her to do it again. I guess she'll do it when she feels like it.

And on a political sidenote, last night we were lucky to witness history. I have supported Barack Obama since he announced he was running two years ago (JD just got into politics lately but he was a supporter as well). We are proud to say that we are apart of Sophia inheriting a better world then we did. Up next... the glass ceiling. Hopefully we can show her that anything is possible, even becoming President.

Bumbo

So this is the infamous bumbo. Its supposed to help her learn to sit up. I think she looks freaking adorable in it and not to mention small. (which she isn't)

Halloween

Yesterday was Sophia's first Halloween! She was a pumpkin. We went up to Ogden so she could see her Theo Cody for a minute. She didn't nap much so she was a bug about a lot of things. It all changed when we got to JD's cousin's house for their party. She became the sweet little Pia we know she can be. She hung out with Grandmother, Grandpa Jack and Grandma Traci. It seemed like she was a good girl and I am proud of her for not crying. I think she was having too much fun to notice we were gone. I took some cute pics so here ya go.
