Turning over

Today we tried to get her to turn over. She's getting really close but I seem to only be able to get pictures of her mid head fall. Tomorrow is Halloween and she's going to be a pumpkin. I'll post some pics tomorrow

First Tear...

So I took a shower on Saturday and when I got out I heard Sophia crying in the bedroom. Peoples we had our first real tears. She had them on the side of her eyes and some on the bed. I guess babies aren't born with actual tear production but here it is, 12 weeks later.

Later that night I made dinner for my "in-laws". It went really well and they got to finally meet my parents.

Sunday I cooked again but this time for my family only. I had accidentally bought a ton of salmon and that's what I cook both nights. Salmon with herbed pototoes and an apple butter sauce over it and butternut squash and apple soup for the in-laws which turned out perfectly. I made beer salmon with raspberry beer for my family which also turned out good. I cook therefore I am.

Sophia always gets baths when I take her to my parent's house. I think my mom likes to do it and probably is afraid that we don't bathe her at all. I now have started packing PJs everywhere we go just in case.

Ugly doll saves the day again!!!

So I intended on blogging for Sophia so that everyone can keep up to date on her. I will probably blog mostly about our daily activities but be sure that I will interject my randomness. Sophia is 12 weeks tomorrow. She is almost 12lbs (which is huge for me!). She has rubbed off her hair in the back and still has blue eyes.

She is addicted to her binkie. She hates when I pull her toes apart to get out the "fuzz. " She loves her dad and anyone talking to her. She wakes up smiling. We didn't do anything today just hung around the house in her vib chair (which is a godsend).

I'm going to try to take a picture of her everyday. Knowing my dedication, this probably wont happen but I guess I can still try.
